Rosslynd Piggott “Last Light”
30 (mon) March - 11 (sat) April

Gallery 360° will hold the exhibition "Last Light" of Rosslynd Piggott living in Melbourne. It will be her first exhibition at our gallery since October 2009.
The works are drawings in cut and fringed silk responding to antique lace that she collected during a residency in London . She describes the works as drawing with silk fabric.
The conversation between the silk works and the collected lace created by anonymous women over centuries creates a new connection beyond historicity.
These pairings hold moments in time and in a gesture of mirroring and poise, re-present them with new possibilities for the present.
