This "Trick Box" piece is limited edition of 15 pieces. The observer can't find at first
glance how to open this stainless steel box. There are 2 small bells inside and also a curved stamp dated as "Oct. 9th '06", when is the birthday of John Lennon, also her san Sean. You can hear the tinkling sound of bells when shaking this box. Yoko Ono once presented the calligraphy work describing John Lennon's name in Kanji (Chinese character) as written :「如 雲 玲 音」(meaning "Corresponding to the way ofthe cloud, the tinkling sound of bells echoes eternally"In open field you will have a reflection of moving clouds on the mirror surface of the box. And you try to search the way of opening the box and eventually you get a hint of opening it accompanied by the tinkling sound of bells corresponding to the transient fleet of the clouds. This is what「如 雲 玲 音」box stands for. By listening to the sound of these bells ring, Yoko Ono associates this box with her living room and enjoys her various imaginations such as John and Yoko talking to each other and making a joyful conversation.
The bells get in contact naturally and make an impressive sound, as resounding eternal echo just like the way of the clouds in the open sky.... Wish this special box of
